DMCA Policy
Digital Millennium Copyright Act Compliance
SpotiLab respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.
DMCA Safe Harbor
SpotiLab operates as a service provider under the DMCA safe harbor provisions (17 U.S.C. § 512). We do not actively monitor user-submitted content for infringement but will act promptly upon receiving valid takedown notices. Our compliance with DMCA procedures protects both copyright holders and legitimate service operation.
How Our Service Works
SpotiLab is a technical conversion service that processes URLs provided by users. Understanding our architecture is important:
•No Content Hosting: We do NOT maintain a library or database of music files
•Real-Time Processing: Content is converted on-demand when a user submits a URL
•Temporary Caching: Converted files are temporarily cached for up to 24 hours, then permanently deleted
•No Indexing: We do not index, catalog, or search for copyrighted content
•User-Initiated: All conversions are initiated by individual users
SpotiLab functions similarly to a web browser cache - processing publicly accessible content at user request.
Our Commitment to Copyright
SpotiLab respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA):
•We respond promptly to valid DMCA takedown notices
•We maintain a policy for terminating repeat infringers
•We do not encourage or authorize copyright infringement
•We encourage users to support artists by purchasing music
•We provide clear Terms of Service prohibiting illegal use
